I actually stumbled across my new very favorite website by accident. I randomly got the idea stuck in my head that I needed a Betsey Johnson-style petticoat. Anything with a vintage feel that’s super girlie and almost whimsical is so very me… And nothing is more girlie than a petticoat! Well, I love Betsey Johnson and her new petticoat skirt was amazing however, paying $198 for a petticoat didn’t feel so amazing. Thus my search for the perfect petticoat began. After researching a few companies, I found just what I needed at Pettiskirtstyle.com. Oh, what a beautiful selection of colors! Whether you are looking for a soft chiffon petticoat, a 50’s style crinoline or a trendy pettiskirt, they have them in baby to adult sizes.

I ordered the raspberry petticoat and when it arrived I literally gasped upon opening the package. There are no words to describe how beautiful this garment is! The gorgeous, soft layers of vibrant pink chiffon just makes me smile and I love how this petticoat gives volume (and a lot of personality!) to my dresses or skirts… It is also lovely on it’s own—with a slip or leggings underneath (it’s semi-sheer). SO, I had no choice: I bought another in ivory… and then I ordered a black pettiskirt (which is like a petticoat but has a little more volume and is not sheer as it’s designed to be worn as a skirt). I can’t help but smile every time I wear one of these pieces and receive tons of compliments.

Not only were they prompt with answering all of my questions, but also they were incredibly friendly and worked hard to make sure I was fully satisfied with my purchases. Their site is incredibly informative and they have many options for an outstanding price… In fact, after purchasing two petticoats and a pettiskirt I have still spent less than the price for that one petticoat from Betsey Johnson! The products are made in American and are of the highest quality. My only issue with Pettiskirt Style is trying to decide which one I am going to get next! I know I’ll be making another purchase soon, but first I have to narrow down my options: Should I get a pettiskirt in raspberry? In Red? Maybe tiffany blue with black ruffles or aqua turquoise? Or do I want to get a petticoat in light blue? Purple? Hot pink or maybe the petticoat from the Confessions of a Shopaholic Movie This is making my head hurt- I just can’t decide!
