Pettiskirt Style

 

Oh, this is fun!  I am sitting here at my desk, blogging… but today is very different, because on my feet are my brand new Silver Ballet Slippers ! Yes, it is true. I have a fetish for ballet slippers. I danced from age 6 to about 23. Ballet, and modern dance.  My performing arts school was Fairmount Performing Arts  Center, in Novelty, Ohio.  My dance teacher was Ms. Lillian Bissell . I will never forget the day she called me at home, and invited me to join her Junior Ballet Group. I thought I would pass out. It was perhaps the most exciting call I had ever received.  This was the elite group of young dancers at Fairmount.  I was elated.

Ok. Here I am. Just broke out into a dance to my FAVE old time song “It’s Raining Men” by the Weather Girls.

Oh, do I love that song. I was wearing my new Silver Balelt Slippers too! How funny is that? I put them on and 2 miutes later the song came on! My days of raining men are over, as I caught the most gorgeous man alive.   13+ Years later, and he is still the ONE.
