Oh Lucie, you got some splainin to do
Why is it that just when things seem calm, and mildly normal…. BAAAM… life hits you hard. My youngest, who just turned 5, had loads of fun rececently WRITING WITH A BLACK PEN on my gorgeous walls. My house is meticulous, beautiful, and my dream home. My youngest child is precious, adorable, and also a dream come true. HOWEVER, with black pen in hand, she looked devilish to me on that bright sunny day. She signed my walls with her spectacular name writing skill EVERYWHERE. And occasionally, she made long, deep lines with her Bic pen. So do you want to know how to get pen off of a wall? PAINT IT… but first remove as much ink as possible, or it will bleed through. The Magic Eraser was the most effective thing I used out of 4 “tools” I worked with, but it takes paint off with it.
The look on her face was almost as priceless as her comment “Don’t you think I did my name real good Mommy?” I replied, “Yes, real good. But why did you press so hard?” She stated “It is hard to write up, usually I write down, on paper” Nough said……………
